This booklet provides a number of long division problems using three different notations. The division bracket notation or the 'english' division is used in English speaking countries such as USA, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, etc, as well as in China, Korea and Japan. The normal equation notation or the 'german' division is used in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Vietnam and in Serbia. A slight modification of this notation is used in most of Latin America. The vertical bar notation or the 'french' division is used in France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Lithuania, Romania, Turkey, Greece, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, Iran, Mongolia and Cyprus. The exercises are suited for students in grades 4 – 5. It is designed to take a student through series of practice worksheets needed to build their confidence and ability for dividing using different notations. The booklet ends with a number of tests to give each child a chance to achieve their highest score. Students are motivated with a certificate of completion found on the last page of this booklet. The solutions to all the problems are given. This booklet may be printed, downloaded or saved and used at home or classroom.
